We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Cunnington as the new Chief Executive Officer of Parallaxx, commencing mid January 2026.
Mike joins Parallaxx with a strong track record in leading high-growth, people-centred organisations through capability building, transformation and commercial expansion. His leadership experience and alignment with our purpose and values stood out throughout a comprehensive recruitment process supported by our shareholders, Executive Team and Board.
As Parallaxx continues to grow across New Zealand and increasing global presence, Mike’s appointment marks an exciting next step in our evolution. He will help strengthen our momentum, build on the strong foundations created by our talented team, and support us as we continue delivering world-class risk management expertise for our clients and partners.
We also acknowledge the outstanding contribution of Dave Tilton, who has led Parallaxx with dedication and vision. Dave remains a key part of Parallaxx and will work closely with Mike over the coming months to support a smooth and well-supported transition. He will continue to play an active role across the business, our strategy and our client relationships — and with both Dave’s expertise and Parallaxx in high and growing demand, many of you can expect to see even more of him across the industry.
